Myrtle Beach, SC—Berkley White of Classic is the recipient of the First Annual Professional Remodelers’ Council Award.

The announcement was made during a live broadcast at this morning’s 2012 Home Improvement and Outdoor Living Show at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. “White received the honor as the result of Classic’s solutions to projects that included whole house, outdoor living, kitchen and bath remodels. The award was based on the remodeler’s answers to the homeowner’s needs,” said Rose Anne O’Reilly of the Horry Georgetown Homebuilders Association. “Classic not only achieved the goals of these homeowners but exceeded all expectations.”

“I am extremely honored,” said White. “Homeowners entrust us with one of their largest investments and one of their most important assets. Whether we are doing a remodel or building a new home, I approach each project as if I were doing it for my own family,” he said. White, serving a second term as President of the Horry-Georgetown Homebuilders Association, is one of six certified master builders within Horry and Georgetown Counties, and one of only 55 certified master builders in the entire state of South Carolina. For five years, he has been a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program and is among 100 builders chosen for the 19th annual builder program, a distinguished network of custom homebuilders throughout the South.

Earlier this year White earned the distinction of being named the builder of the Grand Strand’s first Southern Living Showcase Home.
