Myrtle Beach, SC—Classic Centre has opened at 524 Broadway in Myrtle Beach, SC

The corporation will house Classic Homes, Classic Commercial and Classic Interiors. “The idea is to have one umbrella organization with everything under one roof,” said President, Susan White.

“There are so many choices that surround a building project—the floorplan, the amenities, and the fixtures. It makes sense for the client to be able to make those choices at one convenient location. Experts are on hand to guide clients through the process, and a sample room allows them to actually see the products that will go into their home or business,” she continued. “It’s a process that makes sense, and a process that works well for us.”

While the concept may be unique to some, it is not unique to the company that is one of the area’s most prestigious builders. While Classic has been practicing the ‘centre’ concept since inception, it was only last month that they decided to change their shingle to more appropriately identify what actually happens within their corporate office.

Comprised of the well-known mother and son team of Susan White and Berkley White, and with more than 50 years combined experience in the building business, Classic has a long list of ‘firsts’ and accolades.

Nearly a decade ago, they were South Carolina’s first builder to build to the ‘Fortified for Safer Living’ standards. In 2012, they were chosen to build Myrtle Beach’s first Southern Living Showcase Home. In 2013, Berkley White was named the South Carolina Builder of the Year.
